What is a Gong Bath?
Gong Vibrations hosts 'Gong Baths' these are an immersion in sound meditation using a variety of gongs and other sound healing instruments.
Gong baths can help you relax, reset and rejuvenate with nothing for you to do but to take an hour out of the hustle and bustle of this modern world. Then allow the vibrations of, up to ten, beautiful gongs to wash through and over you, bringing you deep peace and a sense of wellbeing physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

The OM of the Gong

The gong produces an om sound released with vibrant power. A musical outpouring of fascinating tone chaos that is uniquely pleasing to the mind and pleasurably felt by our human body. This vibrant power is responsible for taking us into the neutral state that yogis call Turiya ( a Samadhi of Higher Contemplation) A sense that your consciousness, is everywhere and yet its circumference is nowhere. Samadhi is the great healer because the innate consciousness is not obstructed in its recovery and repair by rationalising ego. What is a PHI
Gong sounds follow the scared geometry shape of phi - the golden mean - the ratio of 1.618033989 is the line of least resistance through space. As well as found abundantly in nature this presence of PHI force is felt in the gongs fields fullness of tones. An envelope of sound in which we feel immortal. The result of space filling tones that balance and counteract the force of friction on the universal upward rise of natural harmonics.
The mental effects of the gong bath are complex and deep. Perhaps even more so than silent meditation or natural sleep because in involves a primordial tone resonace.
No mind can resist a well-played gong - one idiophone -the gong to another us! - creating the verticle movement toward triadic thinking not only creating the feeling of levitation. It shifts our attention to a new perspective and brings the free energy gained from this experience back to our waking dream world and we step a little closer to awakening.
